I am so thrilled to be starting another year at Elizabeth Ide. Kindergarten students will visit the library this week! When students come to visit me in the IMC, I will be reading Look Out Kindergarten, Here I Come by Nancy Carlson.
First and second grade will begin library visits next week and I'm anticipating being ready for book check-out as well.
Next week, I will focus a little more on library rules and procedures, but I know the kids are eager to know about book check-out.
Kindergarten - one book
First Grade - two books (first grade teachers suggest one orange label book and one black label book)
Second Grade - two books (free choice - as the year continues I suggest they try more non-fiction as well as our brand new chapter book section)
